Enter into the beautiful poetry and hymns of St. Ephrem as a guide on our Lenten journey of prayer and fasting, sacrament and service. Known as the Harp of the Holy Spirit, St. Ephrem calls us to a posture of prayer and praise which arise from contemplating the mysteries of God in creation and Scripture.

Poet-theologian and deacon, St. Ephrem lived in the 4th century. Declared a Doctor of the Universal Church in 1920, Pope Benedict XVI praised him in 2007 as a saintly guide who “is still absolutely timely” in our day.
