Workshop description:
To grow in wisdom and faith is to honor the
sacredness of the body and know its holiness. Our bodies are the temples of our Soul. Many times, though, we tend to neglect our "temples" and even form negative connotations and beliefs.  During this workshop we’ll deepen our understanding of the importance of a healthy body that is fit for Spiritual practices and will learn yogic techniques to obtain and maintain physical health and well-being. We’ll practice physical postures, breathing techniques, relaxation and meditation that support physical, mental and Spiritual balance. We’ll also experience postures and gestures of the Mass, including the history of ‘orans,’ an ancient prayer position.
