Workshop description:
As spiritual seekers we often experience an inability to focus and follow through with our spiritual commitments due to fickleness and restlessness of our minds. In this workshop we’ll learn about the nature of our minds and what it takes to bring the mind into focus and stillness, so that it supports a meditative state. We’ll discuss the purpose of meditation and contemplative prayer and will practice both. On the mat we’ll warm up the body with yogic postures and our minds with breathing techniques before we move into the practice of contemplative prayer and meditation.
