Wednesday Evening Mass, Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows, also Live Streamed on our Facebook Page

For today’s “Mercoledi Moment” we celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows, and the seven sorrows of Mary, who joins us in solidarity with our sorrows. Mass is at 6 p.m., with Father Fragomeni presiding. It will be livestreamed on Facebook or the Shrine website.

Instructions follow below.

There are two ways to view our livestreamed Masses:

  1. Facebook:If an individual has a Facebook account, go to Our Lady of Pompeii Shrine page and LIKE it. You will receive automatic announcements when a mass is live.
  2. The Shrine website:Click here: www.ourladyofpompeii.org. On the Home page, scroll down to the Shrine Facebook window. This will play the stream from Facebook but you may need to refresh the page (closing and opening, pressing control R, etc.) after 5:55 P.M. to view the livestream.

The Many Names of Mary A Virtual Program

“Blessed Art Thou,” is a collection of meditations and prayers on Mary, written by Rev. Richard Fragomeni and illustrated by Bro. Michael O. Mc Grath. Fr. Fragomeni will take us on a tour of some of the artwork and will lead us through a meditation of the names of Mary, inspired by titles from the Litany of Loreto, that are in the book.

Includes Q&A

Presented by Rev. Richard N. Fragomeni, PhD, RectorNationally acclaimed speaker, author, retreat master and teacher; Professor of Liturgy and Preaching, Catholic Theological Union, Chicago, Adjunct faculty, Dept. of Religious Studies, De Paul University.
