Advent Day of Reflection

December 14, 2019 @ 8:30 am – 3:00 pm

Advent Day of Reflection and Reconciliation, Prophetic Actions that Pave the Way:

Preparing Hearts and Hands for Christ’s Good News

Saturday, December 14, 2019, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.  8:30 a.m. Check-In, Coffee

Advent is a time to prepare our hearts for the coming of Jesus. The readings for the Third Sunday of Advent focus on the notion of a prophetic call to rejoice in the Good News that includes the “eyes of the blind will be opened” (Isaiah 35:5) and “the poor have the good news proclaimed to them.” (Matthew 11:5).

Our Advent Day of Reflection will challenge each of us to take a prophetic stance as we look at the meaning of Christ’s Good News and explore what it means to prepare the way with courage and joy.
