Our Lady of Manaoag has a permanent home at the Shrine
Folk tradition has it that the Blessed Mother showed herself to a middle aged farmer and gave him the message on where she wanted her church to be located, She showed herself on a low tree amidst the glow of heavenly light. Manaoag is known more as a pilgrimage town than anything else.
This feast has been celebrated at the Shrine since 2003. The Shrine’s Filipino community celebrates our Blessed Mother Mary with their gift of song, worship and tradition. Much like the Italian custom, you depart full of the Holy Spirit and good food.
